What should I get my twelve year old best friend for her birthday? She's a little bit girly but not overly. She likes teddy's and has heaps of things. I'm already making a box to put the present in so I don't want ot make a scrapbook and she's really close so I don't want to just get her a gift card. HELP!!!

A unique birthday gift would be a personalized gift basket.

Use the first name of your friend as the basket theme and assemble gifts accordingly.

Let's say her name is Marry then choose individual gift items corresponding for each and every latter of her name:

M - MIRROR, a nice personalized compact mirror.
A - ANGEL, angel pin, angel photo or angel figurine.
R - RING, birthstone ring, silver ring.
R - ROSE QUARTZ, crystal.
Y - YELLOW, something yellow (sun flowers bouquet, memo notes etc).

I would wrap each item separately and attach a small tag to it with a nice sentence or a saying of what this item means.
