Birthday gift on the first date

hello i have learnt someone by facebook and we really talk every minute we can get free we've been talking like for 5months or so and we want to meet each other.we have decided a day but his birthday is on the same day and i just want to know that do i have to buy a present for him? And if yes what exactly? I am just so confused because the first date on his birthday thanks

I think you should get him something small to signify that day, it doesn't have to be huge nor expensive, a mug filled with chocolates and candy is a sweet gift that acknowledges his big day and it is not too obligated. It will show him that you are a very thoughtful person.

I am only in a new relationship and he is turning 24 in a couple of weeks.
What is a good gift to give somebody who you care a lot about but it is still fresh between you too?
He is quite active - loves snowboarding, hockey etc and also loves fashion.

Gift ideas for my not-long-dating boyfriend becomes 20

in 9 days he will turn 20 and i don't know what to give him.. he loves military, is studying juridic, loves climbing .. he's the tough kinda guy..

we're gonna go on our favorite city to spend that day together (since he loves travelling) and i have there some ideas, but i don't wanna overflow him n that for 2 reasons: we're together since just a week and just after 4 days I have birthday too.. i don't want him to feel like he has to give it back..
