Present for guy bestfriend turning 17

He's my bestfriend. He is incredibly sweet. He's a dark kind of guy. Loves writing, usually love stories, ( but he already has a journal to write in which he loves). he likes rock music. Loves dark colors. He'll always dress in black or gray. He also loves sports, especially football. We also just finished swim season together. He loves to wear hats and v-necks too. I was thinking of getting him one of those but I feel it isn't special enough. It needs to be something inexpensive but that has a special touch that will remind him of me. He recently moved into my neighborhood, and I was thinking something to decorate his room with. Also, we always have these session on his incredibly comfy bed and I was thinking something offical for those occasions, like a special pillow or something. Overall, I want him to love my present because it's touching and reminds him of our friendship.

My friend is turning 17 and i don't know what to get him. Up until last summer we were quite close but then him and my best friend split up and we also started going to different colleges so i've barely seen him since. He invited me to his birthday party and i am stumped as to what to get him. He likes skateboarding and that kind of thing. i have a limited budget but want to get him something nice. I'm alright at crafts so i might do something with that but i don't know.....

Hi,
My close male friend is just about to turn 17, and I'm a bit stuck on ideas about what to get him. I've considered car accessories, but I'd be worried someone else might buy him something like that, and I don't want to go for alcohol because his parents probably won't think much of me if I do....he's not into anything specific, and I'd only be looking to spend around £10.

He loves soccer, collects knives, video games, reading, carving wood, and food. He plays the cello but isn't really into music. He is really funny and crazy and just amazing.

OK, so, my friend J--- and I both like eachother alot, but we're both not allowed to date so we're basically just staying "friends" right now.
So he's turning 17 in four days and I REALLY want to get him a birthday gift. However, being a girl, I have NO idea what to give him.
As far as personality, he's really funny, incredibly sweet, plays football and likes the bands Relient K, The Afters, Switchfoot, and Five Iron Frenzy. However, I have a VERY limited budget right now, being only just turned 16 myself, and so that adds to the confusion in what to give him. Idk, he likes hats???? ugh...help!!!!
