Wrapping with Newspaper - Adding Accent

We are continuing with the creative gift wrapping ideas series: How to wrap with the funny pages in the newspaper.

In this video, decorating whiz, Amy Snively, demonstrates how to add some accent to the gift wrap so it will look great.

In order to add an accent to the package you will need a wide stripe of a bright color that will fit all the way around the box.

Amy uses a tissue paper, but since it doesn't reach, she uses it diagonal, from corner to corner. She folds the tissue paper several times until she gets strong, bold, pretty stripe that she can put on the box. Then she fastens it with some tape.
