Inventive Gift Wrapping Ideas:

Wrapping with Brown Paper Bag - Finishing Touches

Make beautiful presents using materials around the house with simple and creative gift wrapping ideas and techniques.

In this video series, decorating whiz, Amy Snively, demonstrates how to add some color to your gift wrap using tissue paper.

Now that the bag is ready, you can put your gift inside. To add color to your gift wrapping you'll need to use some tissue paper that will pop out the top and add some drama to the gift wrap.

To do so, place your gift in the center of the tissue paper, bring up the short ends, and loosely gather all other ends because you want it to have nice pointies coming out the top of the bag.

To finish, tie the twine around the neck of the bag, just make sure you don't have any unsightly folds.

You can stop right here, or you can add some cute embellishments to your gift. In the next video, Amy will show you how to make cute little buttons to hang from the twine.
