What's a great gift for a boy friend??

what would be a great gift - like the perfect gift for a boyfriend, we've been going out a year and a half and i am completely stuck on what to get. all he has said what he wants is tools, but i dont find that a very good birthday gift.
he loves LOVES to snowmobile, his favourite color is orange, he has great cologne already and i have thought of a scrap book of our times together but i dont have alot of souvenirs of that sadly..
so i need some help.
he doesn't have alot of hobbies, he doesn't read, or play instruments, he doesn't like sports or any fancy electronics, he doesn't play much video games and doesn't really have a favourite movie, cd's arnt really an option cause he downloads his song on the computer and right to his ipod..

Hi! My boyfriend is a professional basketball player and he has a birthday coming up in August. We did the take a trip thing last year and I like to switch it up and really surprise him. His birthday is May 15th and I have tried to think of everything I possibly could, none of it seems right. He loves sports but doesnt want anything that is relative to them.
