There are lots of gadgets to choose from, so there's a good
chance you'll be able to find the perfect gadget birthday gift for your
man.
First lets look at really useful gadgets.
The easiest way to persuade a man to do DIY is to get him some cool DIY tools.
There is just something about power tools that most men can't resist. But heavy duty power tools can be very expensive and unless your man is going to be doing some serious jobs, they would be a waste of money.
However, gadgets like electric screwdrivers, especially those that have rotating handles and multiple interchangeable heads, make great (relatively) cheap gifts.
A cordless model with internal rechargeable battery is the best type to go for and it will make DIY so much easier that it`s likely to be used a lot.
On a power tools theme, but a bit more fun, is a pizza cutter that is designed to look like a power tool. Cleverly designed so it`s easier to put pressure on whilst cutting, it will make pizza cutting much easier, so will actually be useful as well as amusing.
For a really cool gadget, which any music-loving man is bound to love, there are MP3 playing sunglasses. Not only do these glasses protect your eyes from the sun whilst looking cool, they also house a 2GB MP3 player and pump music directly to your ears.
It is a genius idea because glasses are an absolutely ideal place to have an MP3 player as they attach to your ears anyway. No more wire tangles! They really are perfect for listening to music whilst jogging or cycling in the sunshine.
Alternatively, there are mirror sunglasses. Not music to your ears, but eyes in the back of your head instead. Great for spying on what`s going on behind you and amazing your friends with your physic-like abilities and lightning quick reactions.
A bit more expensive, but something that will provide hours of enjoyment, is a USB microscope.
Most men will have spent their sciences lessons at school putting everything they could lay their hands on under the microscope to see what it looks like, so giving them a compact USB microscope with great magnification is a sure fire winner for a birthday gift.
The great thing about USB microscopes is that they are powered from the USB port so you don`t need batteries and you can take photos and movies of what you see under the microscope and save them directly onto your computer.
Any man will tell you, with one of these, the possibilities are endless!
Finally, a small, cheap and extremely useful gadget gift for birthdays when you aren`t expected to spend a lot, is a frosty tankard. These tankards come with water inside the "walls" of the glass. Using them is simple, put them in the freezer, the water freezes, remove them from the freezer and fill them with lager.
You never have to worry about having a warm beer again! They are worth their weight in gold.
