Artistic Best Friend Gift

My best friend is extremely artistic, loves animals (especially cats), and can do almost any sort of creative art. She isn't real big on clothes/jewelry/make up, so I am wondering what to get her?

A subscription to "arts and crafts" or "how to" magazine that will inspire and give her some new creative ideas.

You can get her some craft classes or art lessons to something she didn't try yet.

Or you can make her a craft kit gift basket containing various items according to what she likes to do - for example, if its folk art painting she likes, then you can get her some paints, brushes, canvas and a folk art painting magazine, featuring project ideas and free patterns.

Another idea is to buy her something that was handmade by another artist (as long as it's high quality), try to look for cat theme gifts such as handmade photo album with cats on it or handmade picture frame for cat lovers and so on…

If your friend ever wanted to grow her own organic garden then you could assemble a gorgeous gift basket containing organic seeds, add an organic fertilizer, organic insecticide, an organic gardening book and place them all inside a watering can.

You can bake all kinds of organic cookies and place them inside a nice box.

If you want to make her something more unique, you can make decorative organic soaps, or special photo collage of your friend and her favorite pet.

To make a photo collage choose some photos (ask her mother to give you), gently cut their background leaving just your main subjects.

Cut out enough pictures to cover the cardboard and arrange them on it. Mix and match and experiment, try placing them at different angles. When you happy with your layout, glue the pictures to the cardboard covering it.

Wait for the glue to dry and insert the collage into the frame.

k my best friend's birthday is on August 29th & its about 2/3 weeks away but im not sure what exactly to get her... last year i got her anice birthday card & a necklace that she loves that is a heart with a key..& i put it in a nice gift bag wit tisaue paper...i know she loves american Eagle outfitters & she really likes hoodiea from there & she dislikes sports....shes obsessed wit banana's (inside joke) & loves the numbers 1,2&3 . thafs about itt

You said she is crazy about bananas, then make her a banana birthday basket find a nice tote with banana on it or a nice box and put inside everything you can find that is shaped or remind a banana. I have not seen my best friend in over 20 years. She found me on facebook. Last month was my b-day and she remembered and sent me some beautiful flowers. When I called to thank her she said she can't have flowers because of the cats. Her b-day is on Dec. 20th and I really don't know what to send her.
