i need a few gift ideas for my boyfriends 27th birthday. He is a low maintnace and a do it your selfer kinda guy. He enjoys the outdoors and I am not sure what sort of stuff he would need. He is also into mountain biking, mountain climbing and just starting to take up tenis.

My boyfriend is turning 27 in a couple of months and I am completely lost on what to get him. Were doing a long distance relationship at the moment and its hard to show I love him. I want something small and personal. he loves to write, films, books, and is not big on jewelry or anything cheesy-like. I don't want to keep giving him books every year and I am clueless on what to get.
