Gifts for 10 year old daughter

OK well, My 10 year old is having a birthday party and I need to get her something but I'm not sure what! She's a little girly as in likes makeup a little and loves animals. Her favorite animas are Lions and Wolves but she also loves reading. What should I get her?

Any suggestions on what to get my goddaughter for her 10th birthday. She is active and tomboyish, bright for her age, loves animals and detests anything pink or girly. She lives abroad so the gift needs to be something that I can post/mail. Gift tokens no good - her parents and I have a "real" gift tradition.

My Best friend is turning 10 in 10 days and I don't know what to get for her It should be up to 50 dollars. She's really into dogs and isn't that girly. I was thinking of getting her a book about dogs but she has like a thousand of them. So what should I get???

Get her 10 small gifts (to signify her age) that are related to dogs, it can be a dog key ring, dog mug, a cookie shaped like a dog, stuffed animal dog etc.. Wrap each gift and put it all in a big box painted with dogs. It will be an amazing birthday gift she will never forget.
